Remembering 9/11

The country stands together to mark the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, said President Obama in a recent radio address. “We were united after 9/11, and the outpouring of generosity and compassion reminded us that in times of challenge, we Americans move forward together, as one people.”

We’ll remember the innocent lives lost and honor the heroic first responders, and we pay tribute to our troops and military families who have kept the country safe and strong. The persistent efforts of all who served during the past ten years led to the long-awaited demise of Al Qaeda’s mastermind, Osama Bin Laden. Brave soldiers accomplished the mission planned by the president and military advisers to help make the world a safer place.
